Description
The book highlights the raw, everyday lives and psychology of the ordinary people living in the eastern hills of Nepal. Through its narrative, it focuses deeply on characters like Manamaya and Prabhu Maila to bring forward crucial social realities, including gender discrimination, the historic deprivation of women's education within the Limbu community, and the cultural shifts surrounding the rise of Christianity in rural Nepal.
